Skat undertakes assessment, monitoring and evaluation of projects and programmes for governments, multi-lateral and bi-lateral development agencies.

Skat has undertaken many evaluations. For example:
- Evaluation of Austrian Government's Development Cooperation in the Water Sector
- Impact Assessment of Decentralisation in Uganda
- Evaluation of the Crimea Integration and Development Project
- Technical Assessment of Emergency Water and Sanitation Supply Assistance in Tsunami affected countries (UNICEF)
- Impact assessment of ACF's (Action against Hunger) water and food security programme in Tsunami affected parts of Indonesia

- Scientific partnership between the International Institute for Water and Environmental Engineering (2iE) in Ouagadougou / Burkina Faso and EPFL (Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne) in Switzerland on behalf of SDC
