Moulding guidelines for rubber components

These guidelines contain information on formulations and specifications, raw material suppliers and acceptance testing, compounding, mould tooling, moulding production, and inspection of finished mouldings. These guidelines result from work carried out over several years by the UNDP-World Bank Water & Sanitation Program in pertnership with SKAT-HTN and rubber moulding consultants and manufacturers in several countries. They are intended for companies planning, or carrying out, the production of rubber components for handpumps. The guidelins will be updated regularly to reflect the latest field experience and changes in the rubber moulding industry.
