AGUASAN - Learning from a remarkable community of practice

This brochures tells the story of AGUASAN. AGUASAN is not just a water network, nor is it simply a collection of relationships. AGUASAN has deefinite identity as a community and has this shaped the identity of its members. It exists because sharing in its well-defined domain leads to learning, which in turn fuels a common commitment to fight against poverty. This brochure reviews 20 years in an attempt to find out more about why such an informal set-up has been so successful for so long. The conclusions show that AGUASAN is an impressive "community of practice" - one which can serve as a good example for establishing simila groups in other sectors and fields of interest.
