Working principles
Five principles underpin our work:
- poverty reduction: embracing international development targets to combat poverty.
- good governance: enabling the effective delivery of public goods and services in line with limited available resources and capacities.
- capacity building: augmenting the capacity and capability of local organisations to deliver identified development outputs.
- participatory approaches: working with project partners, local governments and communities.
- high quality services: providing high quality services and continuously looking for ways to improve these (since 1997 Skat has used a certified quality management system according to the ISO 9001 standard).
